STICKS is built around rhythm, repetition and direction. A sequence of elongated blocks moves across the surface like connected segments, creating a composition that feels both structured and relaxed at the same time.

Soft sand tones form the base of the cushion, intersected by pale blue elements and warm ochre accents that introduce movement and contrast without disturbing the overall calm expression. The composition stretches horizontally, reinforcing the cushion’s long and narrow silhouette.

The front of STICKS is crafted from densely hand-tufted wool combined with viscose, creating a tactile surface where matte softness meets subtle light reflection. Variations in pile height define the linear composition and allow the graphic elements to remain clear and structured. The back is made from 100% cotton in a natural tone, providing a calm counterbalance to the expressive front. A discreet zipper allows the inner filling to be removed when needed. Inside, the cushion is filled with supportive foam granulate enclosed in a cotton inner cover, helping the cushion maintain its elongated sculptural form. Soft in surface. Linear in structure.

STICKS is developed through a process focused on repetition and placement. Each segment is carefully positioned before tufting begins, ensuring balance across the extended composition. The cushion is hand-tufted and trimmed with precision, allowing the transitions between shapes and pile heights to remain clear and controlled across its narrow format. A linear composition shaped through rhythm and intention.
